We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to join a top-tier banking institution. The primary purpose of this role is to analyse and assess potential opportunities to increase revenues with existing and prospect clients. This will be within the Capital Markets space for mostly funds and asset management clients.

The Analyst plays an important role in supporting the Relationship Manager in protecting existing revenue and supporting the business development efforts for existing clients. Through continual hands-on training and support/direction from their manager, the Analyst is expected to proactively study the Investor Services industry, relationship management, client retention, sales and operational processes. The Analyst plays an important role in the research and presentation of the organisation's practices, data and trends to assist in the provision of relationship excellence to our clients.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

Relationship Management Support

  • Assist with relationship management efforts including identification of new opportunities for existing clients and maintenance of existing revenue.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed proposals for Investor Services products

Research and Analysis:

  • Under supervision, create pro-forma profitability and revenue projections for new business bids for existing clients
  • Conduct and present detailed market and specific company research, including detailed profiling of clients’ businesses to identify changes in strategy and potential new opportunities
  • Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiative
  • Financial modeling with direction from manager

Relationship Support:

  • Responsible for creating, editing and monitoring all client account documentation within the team
  • Supports various ad hoc projects to document legal and operational requirements of clients
  • Produce client presentations as required
  • Assists Relationship Managers with the execution of the deliverables on the client's relationship plan as required
  • Contribute to strategic planning and special projects by gathering information on market segments and clients as part of the sales and relationship plan


  • BS/BA required, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 3 years investor servicing industry experience
  • 2 to 3 years of sales/marketing experience desired but not essential
  • Familiarity with Financial Institutions (banks, mutual fund managers, insurance companies etc) Core
  • Investor Services product knowledge
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability (writing sample required)
  • Ability to be able to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Attention to detail with proven ability to see open issues through to resolution
  • Ability to juggle several duties and troubleshoot while maintaining an upbeat personality
  • Ability to quickly learn new about new products/materials
